your thoughts and life, completely free.
Q: What is Body U?
A: A program initiated by the Missouri Eating Disorders Council, supported by research from Washington University in St. Louis and Stanford University.
Q: How much does it cost to participate in Body U?
A: Body U is free to all Missouri residents aged 18 years or older, regardless of their sex, race, ethnicity, ability or religion.
Q: Can’t I get support elsewhere?
A: There are few eating disorder specialists and treatment can often be expensive, even with insurance. Body U is one of the only programs of its kind in the nation.
Q: Can I trust you with my data?
A: We will maintain appropriate safeguards to protect the security, privacy and integrity of your personal information stored within our data bases. We will never share any identifiable information with any party outside of Body U unless you agree to such disclosures in writing.
Q: What will you do with my survey responses?
A: We may anonymize your responses as part of broader research initiatives.
